Article Retraction & Withdrawal

Scientia Biologica Indonesia is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring high publication quality. Therefore, this journal follows strict procedures regarding article retraction or withdrawal.

Article Retraction

Articles that have been published in Scientia Biologica Indonesia may be withdrawn if there is evidence of serious violations, such as plagiarism, data falsification, or if the research results are proven to be invalid or misleading. Revocation can also be done if the author is proven to have violated the publication ethics established by this journal. The decision to withdraw an article will involve discussion with the author and editor and can be done based on the author's request or editorial decision.

Article Withdrawal

Withdrawal of an article by the author may be done before the article is finally published, if the author is aware of a substantial error in the submitted work. This withdrawal may also be done if the author feels that the article is not suitable for publication for certain reasons, for example, if there are ethical issues or inconsistencies with the scope of the journal.

 

Withdrawal and Revocation Procedures

If retraction or withdrawal of an article is necessary, the editor will contact the author and provide information regarding the reasons for the retraction or withdrawal.
